swing & sway

I've been on a swinging mood lately...not really a bad thing but it brought me closer to Mr. G...Hes my classic guitar...

speaking of G...Its also 1 of my favourite chord family...sounds nice and easy to play...how about that? Oh right, my random cravings for producing better sound took me to the airport and play with my friends like no tomorrow...which is today and there actually is a tomorrow. Its just a saying.

Someone told me today that a guy he did not really knew said that guitarist that strum and pluck chords are not "real" guitarist...He better be an excellent player to say that...even Mozart and Chopin plays chords...

G D Em C

Oh yea...as for F1...too bad Hams didn't make the break...oh well...at least he still get to spray wine at all the other people...

There was an accident though...the worst of all F1...

Laughs everytime I see it...

Post Poly Forum

Its been 3 days since the I've been back from Poly Forum 2008 and its only till now that I'm talking about it.

A big part of the the reason was due to the fact that I can't get my hands on the pics that I wanted, but its ok...I've got it already.

I have to applaud NYP on their effort in organising such a big event, so much so that they even brought in ministers to sit in and open up discussions (Guess that's what they do in forums). My inability to feel excited about the event was explained as the days go along in there. I had a feeling that I was somewhat like a helpless bird being trapped, not sure why though.

I had no choice but to rise to the occasion and that was when it calls for a "Fun Jem" to rise from its sleep, to make fun out of boredom.

Hey it was not all that bad...now that I recalled, the bowling competition event was pretty great. I made a new personal record of 135! (with handicap)

Ugh...I think the best times was the last day where everything was going slow for me, can't say the same for the rest. We (I made new friends) went around playing games and stuff...it was better when night fell.

Then there was this smart Lil girl that drank cocktail and came telling me she was sober...

"Hey I'm not drunk k...I know (pointing at the numbers on my shirt) 2 + 1 + 10 + 0 = 3!"

I pronounced her drunk after she asked me where her room was.

The night was long and it turn arduous for me as I had trouble keeping awake. The forfeit made by my friends were too heavy for me to even afford an eye shut.

The whits stuff on our faces were toothpaste...it dried
I don't know what happen here

Some of the people I met

In overall, the people there were great, the fun was fun and I enjoyed the days.

Happy days...all my ways!~ Randomness

A Breakthrough!

It is more than what the title claims to be!

It is a breakthrough in my own spiritual walk with God!

An overnight prayer event held by Campus Crusade that made an astounding inpact upon me, not sure if the others feel the same. To be honest, I thought I was gonna sleep my way through the event. It is seemly impossible with all the excitment and insights that was shared, not forgeting the fun with friends and the crazy things done to keep the metabolism rate running.

It is through and by this camp that I saw a side of me that have really been floating on stagnant water.

I thought I needed more to life, but I realised that I lacked the drive.

I learnt about the fortunate state that I am placed in by grace and yet, that I did not appreciate.

I talked about many but failed to comply to any.

It is not a change that I want but really a living relationship that I need. Thus, Im back in the zone! The one thing I took back from that camp was to stop living in the past of the world but for the present and future of the promise. Let not things that away something that was bestowed to us by extended mercy & grace.

Full of Pride -> Taking things in Stride

This is a testimony, believe it.

The new friends I made friends and the friends I remade, I shall not forget. Especially the encouraging one, Yvonne.

Oh! A new hero emerged from the conference!

Inspiration

Recently I went to this worship song writing competition, "The Genesis Project", I must say that I underestimated the entertainment value beforehand.

They were not just song writers but musicians that actually got their own band, it was so freaking awesome. Not only was the songs inspiring, but also, the music and the effort they put in bringing their songs to the extreme level that really awaken the longing to worship again!

I say that God ins working in the midst of my family, even my mum got inspired to take the stage in church, something that we both thought was impossible before. If God wants it, anything is possible.

It seems that I've been inspired a lot to get my built back in shape considering that I managed to skip working out for so long due to the time consuming modules I had last block. It seems that kicking soccer have become even more difficult with no one in school to compete with, seems like everyones taking a break from school life.

Oh well, I need to start planning to get experienced in my field of filming, seems like it is not all about cameras after all, lots of things like advertising is also involved. Oh yea...speaking of that, do go support and watch the upcoming film, The Days, it is one awesome show not to be missed. I know it because I was there when they did it. So just go watch it!
