The Great Kick Off

It was just yesterday that I finally had time to just let myself go and enjoy in the Campus Crusade Challenge Club.
In short, it a tertiary Street soccer tournament.

My team aka easy company(half of them) aka...TP team(Not really, there were RP & NYP representitives too)

Nicholas - TP Howling Black Cannon
Robin - TP GameBreaker
Jem (Me) - TP Opportunist
Jerome - Rp Saver Extrodinaire
Rowland - NYP Miracle Jester
John - TP White Knight

It not as big scale as I thought it would be, 9 teams to be exact inclusive of the uni, staff and Jc team. Well, I thought that it would be just a easy game, something like having fun kicking balls. I thought wrong.

The vibe of winning suddenly jacked up from within and I'm not sure why but I had the gut feeling that that was the day to win. Well, I do have a great team in hand.

we started off with a daunting draw. 2 : 2

Then... an easy win, as least thats what I thought. 4 : 3

Followed by a Splendid victory 3 : 1

A daunting close shave(We made enemies) 6 : 4

And the ending win(We had only 2 supporters) 4 : 2

Thank God for the Win, cuz to be honest, its probably the only thing I've ever won in my life with a substantial medal to prove. There were really times where I thought "omg we're not gonna make it", but we did. Also, I realised how hard I tried to in trying to achieve my goals, at the cost of my legs (God its aching now).

There were also very funny goals that reminded me that anything is possible, one of which whereby the opposing team keeper throw was deflected by the Jester, granting us a 1 second goal! What an EPL standard move, he should have made it into the book of records.

I had my moments too, but of all that, I really thanked God for answering my prayers, not for victory but for a good day. I bought my first pair soccer boots after my match to prevent further destruction of my legs for being too extreme in games. Oh, and now I'm so tanned that a lobster would laugh at me for it.

The day was good, oh well, now back to assignments.
