The Leap Years...

A promise to meet every 4 years...

I watched the leap years yesterday and I thought that it left an
impression on me...oh yea...The show was great.

Well...one thing for sure about that show is the great execution in the framing of shots...I was like wow...its so...Good.

The other thing about it is that the Love story is not as cliche as I thought it would be after all. I kind of like the way the story was told, like jumping back and forth across the time frame of 4 leap years. They didn't even leave out subtle feelings that aren't as important, I think it was this that made the feel of the movie pretty real.

However, the one thing I do not like is the change in artistes as they age, I mean like, it would have been better it the original artistes remained with just some make up to give the aging feel. After all, they didn't really age that much.

The original feel I had for the trailer compared to the movie was rather different. I kinda like the feel of the trailer better I guess...kinda weird and its hard to elaborate. Overall, I think that the shows really good. I would recommend people to watch it. However, be attentive in the feel of the show for if you don't get it, then I am afraid it wouldn't turn out as good. For a Singapore film, I think its ones of the rare few that I have seen.

People should really watch the real deal before even giving comments like wannabes, copyright, it sucks, no don't watch it and etc. Even the trailer itself to get such attention. I guess that is what I call good advertising, see, it sets people thinking after watching it.

Waiting is really and indeed courageous and strong...to wait for the right one...

Oh well...we can't really stop the expressions can we?
